Why not just come along and join us in one of our Sunday meetings?
Just arrive a few minutes before the meeting will start. There will usually be someone on the door to greet you. Meetings begin in silence and last about an hour. There are no formal priests and no set prayers or hymns or sermons. Rather, the meeting is simply offered as a shared time of quiet waiting and worship. Occasionally, someone will stand up and say something briefly, after which time for reflection on this is always left. The end of the meeting is signalled by a general shaking of hands with neighbours. Then there are usually a few notices, followed by tea or coffee. You can stay and talk or leave straight away, as you wish.
We look forward to meeting you ...
The Meeting House is very near Victoria Park (see 'how to find us')
Leicester Quakers also hold regular Meetings for Worship at other times in the week. To request details click here.
