Faith and practice ...
Don't expect an easy definition of Quaker faith ...... because Quakers have always refused to be contained in a fixed 'creed' of doctrines or beliefs ...
... they focus instead on faith in action ...
... If you come to any of our Meetings for Worship you'll find no fixed prayers, hymns or sermons - just stillness and silence until someone is moved to speak. Nothing is prearranged. If a theme emerges in the meeting it springs from the living experience of the moment, and from our heritage of trying always to keep faith and practice together.
